Black Lilac is a fan-made dark counterpart of Sash Lilac. She came about thanks to concept art by AnRock3 which was noticed by members of GalaxyTrail, and the concept became popular in the Freedom Planet fandom.
She is described by AnRock as being the original Lilac infected with darkness.
